Built in the 1920's this recently restored two bedroom house was home to members of the Woolrich family who started the nursery in The Dandenongs that operated on this site until the 1960's.

The cottage was built in the 1920s for Ted Woolrich who started the former nursery from which these woodlands have grown. The cottage’s Art Deco features have been retained and restored during a major renovation to create this elegant accommodation. Fine furniture complements the period architectural features such as the Art Deco leadlight windows.
The cottage ambience is
altogether alluring.
 

WHAT'S INCLUDED

This charming cottage is the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway for one or two couples. The bedrooms are designed to provide ultimate comfort with walk-in wardrobes and ensuites. The indoor four-person Jacuzzi hot tub is the perfect spot to unwind and soak under a glass skylight. The inviting living room features a warm fireplace as the centerpiece. The dining area boasts a large bay window, bathing the space in natural light. The kitchen is designed to make you feel at home with its recent update, featuring quartz benchtops, smeg appliances and a farmhouse sink. French doors open to the deck, with breathtaking views of the garden and mountains. Which is equipped with an outdoor dining area, perfect for intimate al fresco meal with loved ones.

  • $450 per night weekends (Friday - Sunday)

  • Price includes up to 4 guests

  • 2 night minimum applies at all times

  • Other minimum stays on public holiday periods apply

  • Security deposit of $500 applies

Woolrich Cottage has two bedrooms sleeping 2 guests each and a fold-up bed that can sleep an additional guest priced at $30. Prices shown are for up to 4 guests. A portacot can be provided for $20 and infants under 2 years of age stay free.

Upon your arrival you will find a generous voucher for you to redeem at the lovely Seasons Restaurant in Cloudehill Gardens for breakfast, lunch, or morning or afternoon tea. In addition there will be, of course, ground and Nespresso coffee, a selection of lovely teas and fresh milk. You are welcome to bring  your own breakfast if you wish.
