Accommodation

The cottage was built in the 1920s for Ted Woolrich who started the former nursery from which these woods have grown. The home's Art Deco features have been retained and restored during a major renovation to create this elegant accommodation. Fine furniture complements the period architectural features such as the Art Deco leadlight windows. The ambience is altogether alluring.

The cottage layout includes two bedrooms, walk through robes and large ensuites, so two couples can enjoy equal luxury. A special feature is an indoor, four person Jacuzzi hot tub under a glass skylight.

The lounge room has an open fire, and a bay window on the east accommodates the dining table, bathed in morning sun. The front verandah rounds the corner to a large deck overlooking the gardens to mountain views. The kitchen has also benefitted from the renovation sporting granite bench tops and a fashionable farmhouse sink. French doors open onto the deck which is equipped with a barbecue and outdoor furniture for alfresco dining.
